Two restrained source notes connect the first forms to Czech landscape and craft: Lipnice's flooded quarries for Cliff, and the close-set garnet language of Czech goldsmiths for Crystal.
The crystalline structure echoes centuries of Czech goldsmithing: tiny garnets set so closely that the metal almost disappears. In glass, every ridge becomes an individual mirror, breaking light into thousands of sparks.
At the flooded quarries of Lipnice, cut stone walls and their reflections form a Cubist mosaic on the water. Cliff carries that tension between human touch and raw nature into pressed crystal.
Crystal and Cliff are also raised on a crystal foot — the same faceted body, UV-bonded to a clear stem. Clear crystal.
